Oh how I love this plaid blazer but is this the right fit? Definitely fits me longer than the model.

Also, shown with the BP leopard scarf and the Nike sneakers. I think both are keepers.

Looks great! I think you captured the perfect subtle slouch of the model picture, but without the coat looking too large.

to me, it looks a little big -especially in picture #1..but I think oversized is coming back, so this maybe how its supposed to fit

KILLER, Colette - and it's a top pick. So is the scarf. AMAZING together. I'm proud of you.

Please wear the right layers underneath - not just a tee - coat is supposed to look roomy. Shoulders look right. But try a size down too.

Super cute sneaks. Love it with the classic man coat.

Are the shoulders a touch wide for you? I love love love the coat! It looks really cool with the sneakers and scarf, too!

Coat could be hemmed if you felt the length was not right...

How heavy is it? Like an indoor blazer or like a coat?

Suz, I thought the shoulders might be a bit wide too so I'm still stalking the smaller size (XS) but a small popped up and I just grabbed it. It's very light weight. This is definitely a light weight blazer and perfect for transitional weather. I also think it could be cool worn as a coat-dress with leggings and tall boots, layered over a turtleneck in winter.

What a cool idea to layer it over a T-neck and leggings. Or worn open over a solid lightweight knit dress -- it's going to look amazing on you!

But I agree with you and others that you should compare to the size down if you can.

Collette - I love this on you!! I actually like it as is, but of course stalk, it's good to compare sizes and there are 2 weeks of stalking left, so I think there is a great chance one pops back. Don't lose hope. I have a similar blazer/coat/dress but higher stance. Even sized down it needs to be a little roomy if you keep it buttoned so that it does not pull when you sit. I love them length, I think it looks incredibly elegant. Major score, but I love this type of item and they are in style and vanish so congrats on the acquisition!!

I love how this looks on you, and I wish it looked like this on me! Even sizing up for me wouldn’t achieve that. (Sigh, big boobs can be a pain. :-P)

Janet - I'm sorry to say we little flatsies do have the advantage in the equestrian long jacket style. But you can wear jackets that look hideous on us, like the BCBG black jacket with zips. I could not fill it out, it looked ghastly on me but divine on you. Something for all of us, we just need to find it!!

It’s a lovely coat on you but I think it has a problem with the placement of the inside button because it pulls under the top decorative button. Maybe it is just a matter of fixing the inner button.
The scarf and sneaks look very nice too.

I think it is probably the right size, but I have seen some XS (assume that’s what you would want to try) come through the site today if you were looking for one. I was stalk8ng, and finally got, a medium. I think it runs a little small to be honest. I never wear anything larger than a 6, and the small is just too small on me. Of course it could be that darned boobicular region that we have been talking about that caused the problem!

I was originally assuming that you were modeling a heavy winter coat. In my opinion, I think that only reason to keep a jacket as large as this one is if you already have bulky sweaters or exuberant sleeves which would work well underneath it. Also, I’m unsure about the length if you want to wear it with booties or boots. It seems like you’d have an awkward amount of leg showing.
