Earlier this week, I went shopping for summer mules in a few local stores; I found hardly any. Once again YLF is ahead of the curve!
So naturally I jumped online and placed the biggest footwear order of my life, for SIX pairs of mules from Nordstrom. Five of them were waiting for me when I got home from work this evening.
And all five of them will be returned due to fit issues. My left foot is half a size bigger than my right foot, and even when the right mule fit well, my left heel hung over the back a little AND, in a couple cases, also hung over one side just a bit.
The pic below is one example of a fit issue. I LOVE how this particular pair of mules look and feel, and the little heel gives just enough support for my plantar-fasciitis prone feet. This pair is available only in a medium width, so hopefully going up a size will provide the right fit.
I like a few of them enough to reorder to try in another size. My question is if I need to order them in a wider size or just go up to the next size numerically. Or both?
“Angie’s” Naturalizer mules will arrive in the next few days; I’m almost thinking I should just go ahead and order them, also, up one numerical size and/or in a wide instead of a medium.
