Peeptoe booties and copycat graphic t-shirt came today

The tee is a lot more fitted than I expected but I think I can still make it work if I use volume elsewhere and/or put a jacket over it, which is how I'd envisioned styling it anyway. Joy, curious to know if your Fender tee is so bodycon. (I do love the little brass studs on the pickups and around the neckline!)
The peep toe mule sandals have stolen my heart. But they are tall. They feel completely sturdy, likely due to the whole foot encasing style and thick heel.
First impressions? Anything to point out I'm not seeing? I should mention the shirt is non returnable (I risked my $9) so it's more a point of if I can make it work, not returning it. The shoes can be returned.
I'm only wearing one, and so trying to hide my other foot, that's why the goofy stances. I'm running a race tomorrow and don't want to fiddle with my injured ankle the night before in heels.

I love the details of the tee! I think you can totally make it work -- as you say, combine it with some volume or layers.

And I am loving those peep-toe sandals, but am also concerned about the height.

Well, I love both pieces. The tee is fitted, but I agree you can make it work, and the pattern is incredibly cool. The booties look fantastic on you. But I do worry about the height. How about you wear them around the house for a while a few days after your race. You need to get a feel for how it feels to move in them.

I like the details in the tee, too. I am SO over body con tees for myself, but this looks great on you and I totally think you can make it work.

The peep-toe booties are a great fit and look killer. Wow. Gorgeous on you.

The tee is too short and snug to my eye, Mo. The sleeves too. Can you size a few sizes - or at least one size?

Jewell, there was another pair, but they were TOO high. I knew the minute I put them on. These I can debate on. Those were, "step away from the shoe and wrap it back up in the box". Seriously. Came FedEx, went out USPS within the hour with the regular mail pick up. No joke. Quickest turn around ever I think.

Angie, tee is a large (supposedly Jr's sizing but I'm doubting that by the fit) but bought off eBay, so no other option Glad you love the booties!

I think the tee only works if layered - otherwise it's a really shrunken fit though it is a fab print. It looks like a very young fit and I don't often feel that way. If it were this cropped but boxier or alternately this fitted but longer, I would like it more.

The booties! Find a way to make them work!

Love love love the booties! What's the measurement on the heel height? Anything over 3.5 and I can't even stand up! :). But they look great on you!

I got them from Shoemall who listed them as 3", which I was hopeful was right. http://www.shoemall.com/p/repo.....na-womens/
Nordie's lists them as 3 3/4" but that's higher than the other Nordie's shoe I put immediately back in the box as too high, so I'd guess in between.

LOVE the booties. I am normally not a huge fan of styles like that, but the zipper up the front totally makes them for me. I think you definitely should keep them! I'm not as fond of the tee, but that may just be a personal issue I have with tees being short. You could probably still make it work with layering.

I think that's a child's size large, Mo. I don't know how fab it will be layered because you'll cover up most of the pattern - especially since it's short and low in the neck. Give it a go though.

Phooey! I favored the other pair and, since I can't wear shoes that high, was planning to live vicariously through you. Now that I've spent a full sixty seconds pouting over the fact that the others had to go back, I'll join the chorus saying that these are great on you as long as they are comfortable.

I love the shoes but they do seem high. It depends on whether you think you'll reach for them. I like the pattern on the tee but agree that the problem with layering over it is that you cover up the cool graphic.

I think both the shirt and the shoes look great. The shirt does look a little short, and it's more body-con than you like to wear, but it is still neat. I wonder if you wet it down if you could stretch it out and make it bigger? I suppose it depends on how stretchy it is.

The shoes are awesome, so I hope you can keep them. The heel is high, but it's also very chunky, which helps a lot with support. I like Suz's suggestion of waiting until after your race and then wearing them for a few days around the house.

I really like the boots but only you know if you will actually wear them. 3" is probably my limit.

I love the shoes, Mo. To me they don't look super high and the heel is quite substantial which helps.

I don't love the tee. I just feel like I've seen lots of other tops that are more attractive on you.

Those boots are awesome Mo! Only thing that gives me pause is the height - and that's something that you need to figure out for yourself.

I'm not crazy about the shirt - it just looks way too short to me - I'm glad you only paid $9. for it! I think I'd give it to a pre-pubescent girl and call it good!

Maybe try a layering tank top under the tee if you are concerned about the fit/length. I'm long waisted and resort to that trick.
Love the booties on you!

I may resort to trying to stretch it. It's 22" long and hits an inch or two under my hip bone, but I think the low rise pants makes it look even shorter.
I'm really, really wanting to keep the booties, so I hope my test drive around the house over the weekend proves them to be comfortable.
