It's great, I'm learning so much on YLF. Let's say 8 years ago I wouldn't even have known of a lot of brands. Then three years ago, I would have said, at the local thrift store, "Oooh, a Lafayette 148 jacket in my size! And only eight dollars!" And today I tried it on, and the complete lack of structure made it easy to instantly leave it behind. I'm telling you that three years ago, I would have bought it.

Also jeans. $25, brand-new with tags on, a brand that always works for me in a nice wash, but I am completely done with low-rise jeans.

I get a bit impatient sometimes, but glad to be more discerning--my Roman closet is not going to be built in a day. (I wish the clothes in it were all from Rome, actually.)
