MOTG challenge- formula 1

Here are 2 outfits I've donned this week. I don't own a new look cardigan, so I've taken some liberties....

This one is with a sweater that I don't adore, but I'm gonna try to keep it around one more season.

I really don't have a stellar collection of outerwear, but I'm gonna try to do what I can with what I have for a while.

And of course, suggestions for improvements, or "Oh my word, you actually left the house looking like that?" are welcomed and encouraged.

Have you tried the raspberry cardi with the skinnier jeans from the second picture? That would help balance the volume of the top. I like your necklace - you have a very long, graceful neck! The second outfit looks perfect - what a great fitting denim jacket you found!

Thanks ladies, and thanks Shana for the feedback. I think you're right- the raspberry sweater needs a more slender pair of jeans. That's actually my next purchase- a nice pair of slims or skinnies in blue. I think it would also help if I wore that sweater with heels to make my legs longer since the sweater is so long.
