MOTG and trouser jeans

I am afraid i cant stop wearing these pants. Maybe I will wear them every day for a week to see how many ways I can spin them.

I feel with this style of denim pant, it's one wrong move and you're in 'mom jean' territory. Please stop me if I get even close!

I am sucking my stomach in so hard in this picture btw. Maybe the tee makes me look too blocky through the middle but what i was thinking was "tight on top, volume on bottom."

Again, these new maui Jim aviators to casualize.

Oh! The new Kate Spade satchel from the outlet. I am always a sucker for quilting and always will be!

Love the aviators, and the palette of this outfit.

I love, love, love the style of the jeans - after all - I'm an '80s gal so I'm in all the way with pleated jeans. Where did you get them? I'm going to get these:

To my eye, the jeans need to be a little shorter, Karen. Either hemmed or rolled. I am Queen Pedantic About Lengths so take my opinion for what it is worth to you.

Angie, really? Roll them up? I was trying to get as much length out of them because I realized with a drop waist, drop crotch I might need to streeeetch the leg down as long as it could go. But on the display they did indeed show a roll up at the hem.

These are by AG, the "Cloey". 66$ at the outlet. Maybe you want to try these since so much cheaper Than the shopbop pic? You could call the outlet store in CA and have them send you a pair. I've done that before. I got size 25. The 24s were not at all slouchy on me. They were "mom jeans".

I KNEW you were going to see these and love them! Ha! I thought about you when I bought them.

Did you see my post in them yesterday? I think they look cuter dressed up. I think they will be amazing with my white pointy pumps in the spring.

Karen, to my eye it's the shorter length that elongates the leg line with this style of trouser/jeans, along with the tucked top (low contrast helps). Of course, a longer hemline would elongate the leg line even further - but I'm talking much longer and regular length.

I'm going to order the shopbop style because I'm happy to pay premium for length. Then I can wear them long and short.

Perhaps you'll show an option with the hems rolled too? And high five. You were spot on that I absolutely love these jeans. Nice to be thought of. xo

Oh I love these jeans! Currently kicking myself for getting rid of a pair from the 80's that looked just like this but with a cuff at the bottom. I agree with Angie they would look flattering rolled up. I wonder if your gold booties would look good with them?
