Congratulations!! What a hadsome man, but what would you expect just look at his mum.
Great to see you again xx

Ahh, congratulations - you must be really proud!

You're looking great Mary, I think I can detect some changes in your neck/jawline - you must be so excited!

What an amazing accomplisment. Congratulations to you and your son. Can't wait to see your new face, stay on top of the ice packs and rest!

Congratulations, MaryK! What a handsome guy he is, and you are right to be proud of what he has accompkished here!

Keep healing there and taking care of yourself too

What a moving day! How insane to find that he had changed so much that it took a while to find him in the pic! I am watching my son (almost 13 years old) changing before my eyes--it's such an amazing process.

Good luck with getting the stitches out today. I am so glad that the recovery is going smoothly for you. I have to say that I must be a bit addicted to your daily or nearly-daily outfit posts--I think I'm going through some sort of MaryK Killer Business Bombshell withdrawl :).

I am having MaryK awesomeness withdrawal too

18 is a bit young for me, methinks heehee.

Jonesy, I was absolutely, positively, utterly convinced all weekend that he was just. not. in. the. photo. I went through those faces one by one for more than an hour, and could. not. find. him. at. all. Okay, I was on drugs from the surgery, but my BFF couldn't recognize him, either. And not only couldn't we recognize him, but we were certain we RULED OUT every guy in the photo as a possibility! LOL I even emailed the photographer and got the best response ever, including this: "You're not the first worried mom. Nor will you be the last. It happens all the time. ... If there was something really wrong you would know. Hope you'll be here for graduation."

Still, it was only after I'd worried for 5 days and finally got a letter written post-photo-shoot that I went back and had my hubby help me find him. So now hubby (a) is my Number One Hero for finding him, and (b) thinks I'm the biggest dork in the world for NOT finding him!

I'm blaming the drugs! :p

(Did you watch Arrested Development?. If so, you may appreciate this gif:

If not, DO IT; and then you may appreciate this gif )

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

MaryK, honestly, bless you and bless your son. You must be so proud to see that he is so proud. As a mumma of boys, your post brings happy tears to my eyes too. I think it is what every mother wants for her children.

I'm glad that you are on the mend. Good luck with the removal of stitches, hopefully it will feel far more comfortable and a very quick improvement after that!x

That is amazing, MaryK. You must have been beside yourself not being able to find him in the picture!! I would have been freaking out for sure. Yay for hubby....and yes, it must have been the drugs :).

Aida, I love you for bringing up Lucille's "I'm thirsty!" from Arrested Development. I badly wanted to make that joke, but wasn't sure and also got distracted.

MaryK, it looks like you're recovering quickly and your energy is terrific. Keep it up!

Hehe Lena, it's such a classic Lucille moment, isn't it? (so are the "air quotes" with the martini *giggle* ohmigoshilovethatshow) I figure if anyone has the good humor to appreciate that joke after a little lift, it's our MaryK <3

(PS: Glad I was right, whew! ^^)
