Mostly just saying hello - YouLookFab Forum

Hi everyone!

Hope you all have been well. I do pop in regularly to read and absorb still but do not often post save for the occasional 'attaboy'. I love the new look of the forum. Regan and I have been super busy on our little doggie adventures and I have included a photo to demonstrate some of what we've been up to (with me attempting to look half decent in my Gap Sexy BF jeans). That's me closest to the camera. Thankfully the grass is obscuring my decidedly unfab shoes. Some concessions must be made for the lure field.

I purchased one of Angie's NAS picks (Sam Edelman Military Tweed jacket ) and look forward to sporting it this fall. Love you guys and hope to post tomorrow to get input on an outfit for a rare occurance: Dinner with friends!

I know Regan is a star, but you totally outshine the other handlers (is that the right term?) I mean, it's obvious you have great style just by the fit of the jeans and tee, your body art, and your haircut. You must be the coolest person in the dog show circuit.

You know I never mentioned this anywhere on YLF, but I mention it here in your thread because you were familiar with the breed of our dog Bernie, an Entlebucher Sennenhund. Unfortunately he died in a tragic accident -- he was lying in the garage and my Mom ran over him. He was already 9 and had started to slow down and lose his hearing. He always had the best hearing and would sing beautifully when the ambulance rang in the distance (completely inaudible to humans). He was always the first to know "something's up" or that we had visitors. Anyway his injury was so bad, there was little that could be done. And yes my Mom is a very fast 80 year old driver, even when she is pulling into the garage. I'm not sure she will ever get over this.

Anyway so much for my sob story; it's been a while since this happened. It's nice to see you post, I will look for your thread tomorrow!

And oh, Denise, I am so very sorry! That's horrible! I don't know who to feel worse for, you or your mother (after poor Bernie that is) :'-(

Thanks for the compliments. I do get some nice feedback at shows so that always makes me feel good. And yes, "handler" is the right term. Hugs to you and family, Mom especially.

Thats so sad Cocolion! My deepest sympathies. I feel really bad for your mum too. My friend's mum did something similar and was just devastated. We love our little fur people don't we, and its terrible when they go. I havent shared a pic before but here is one of my aging fella. He's 14.

And I forgot to say Andrea you look pretty cool in the photo.
