WiWs from the last few days...

Pics 1-2: I'm besotted with the long tunic + skinnies look (thanks, Una) especially since I am also loving my black boots.

Black tunic (really a dress that my husband helped turn into a "tunic" while doing laundry)
R & R skinnies
Blondo boots
Black moto
It's a dark outfit that might have improved w perhaps a lighter scarf, but I did feel badass and biker chic...

DH is a genius! I love the tunic and boots especially with the tough jacket You look great in purple too. Love your style--minimal with maximal impact! FUN.

You look marvelous in black and purple/fuchsia and how funny about the "turn of the tunic" by hubby. Did he leave it in the dryer too long? If so, it's a winner! I love the biker look. In fact, both outfits are great.

Thanks so much, ladies!

My husband does the laundry at our house (and I am SO grateful), but there is a basket that he has strict instructions NOT to wash. When he tries to "help" when I am busy, it is always by taking care of the clothes in that basket as well. This tunic was supposed to be line-dried :).

So, I don't know about "genius". I was initially upset but, when another tunic/ skinnies/ boots combo got a lot of love on the forum and I felt wonderful in that new-to-me silhouette, I decided to make lemonade. BTW, my husband was very complimentary about how I looked in this outfit (I'd say, even a little smug:)

Thanks, Angie! I have a better camera and, as of this weekend, I have also recruited my husband to help me with pictures so I hope to be posting more outfits more often. It's a great way to get to know, and to be a part of, the YLF community!

All three looks are great but I am especially fond of pic two. You could kick things up a notch by adding some shine- studs perhaps? And I love that you turned DH's helpful blunder into something fab.

You look great in these outfits! I like the long tunic with boots look too but actually don't have many tunics. I think the black look is fine since it looks intentional.

Sara, I only have 2 tunics (and the second tunic is one that I acquired by accident :), but it is a look I like, so it's my goal to get a few more (slowly and carefully) so I can duplicate this look. Thanks for the comments!
