More teal jacket outfits: yay or nay?

Trying to find more outfit formulas. I've used the same tee for all of them, but think of all these items as prototypes for actual outfits because I'm trying to be as diverse as I can!

1. Fitted tee dress. Too Mother-of-the-Groom (although my son is only 11!)?

2. Slouchy casual. Too conflicted?

3. Bootcuts. Pretty sure I'm too short to pull this off, although it's what is shown in the catalog.

4. Leather skirt.

5. First and easiest outfit, leather skinnies and tee. Could substitute denim skinnies here.

I like 1,4 and 5 for sure. I think the column of color and distressed bottoms in 2 is a cool juxtaposition. I think I like 3 but would have to see your legs uncrossed to be sure. That topper is amazing on you, Una! Love it.

Especially like it in 3. You can definitely pull this off....just wear a white tee to bring out the beautiful hue of that jacket.

You wear this color so well...I love your look in all outfits...I hope you have decided this is a keeper...And you know, this blazer doesn't have to be styled...throw it on and run to the mall or the store...The secret is you look wonderful with the coat and it raises things a lot...

Great jacket! Love 1, 4 and 5! How about a color underneath...maybe a floral top or dress? What about some plaid pants? Does it work with the Kuts from either this year or last?

I love the bootcuts but they look like giant flares in the picture? The only one that I am not sure about is the first one. I would like to see it with a skirt/dress that is longer than the jacket.

I like all renditions, though I think I lean towards it paired with trousers than skirts or dresses, as in 2,3 and 5. I'm still seeing "coat" with this cut, but that's just me. I bought 2 longline jackets in the Spring and wore each just once because I can't get used to the look indoors. I sit for much of my day and it was uncomfortable to have all the fabric bunch around me, plus I think it was making clients uncomfortable, like I didn't have time for them and was rushing out the door. So I ended up taking the jackets off anyway!

This colour is spectacular on you and Hopefully you will lead the path so the more fashion timid of us can follow!

I think all of these look great. I don't think the color is the issue as much as the silhouette of the jacket. If it were black how often would you wear such a silhouette? If frequently, then you will probably reach for this often as well. I have teal leather jacket that I wear interchangeably with a similarly cut black one. When I'm wearing an all black or all navy outfit (which is most of the time) I actually prefer the teal.

Super versatile! Yep, last shot is quintessential Una, but that alone would make it worthwhile. I think they all work. Fun colour.

Well, they all work, because every one is someone's favorite.

1 and 3 are my favorites, totally love them! 5 is the one I'm less sure about, but it is a favorite for others. I think that jacket is a keep beyond all doubt!

Am I remembering correctly that you decided to leave the length as is? I would still like to see it just a bit shorter as I think it would be easier to get the right proportion.

I still like it a lot!

I think because it is a deep, clear color it "likes" similar sharp colors rather than faded or distressed like the jeans. So, looks really good with black, would also with white, pops of orange, grays if on the deeper, not too heathery side, maybe try with some types of plums.

Unfrumped, I agree with you about the color situation, and although everyone says teal is a universal color, I've never really worn it so I'm grateful for your help. It is definitely not a heathered shade - I don't do heathered shades well, although who knows if that will change too.

Susie, I am planning to shorten but not until I decide to keep it!

Got ya! I do think that you should keep it. The color and style are beautiful on you.

I love teal but I don't have a lot of it. I've found that not all shades of denim work well with it. But I adore that jacket with black.

4 and 5 are my favorites. 5 looks most like the Find photo. I love this color on you. The whiter my hair got, the more I liked wearing black, in fact for the first time in my life. You may be back to black in the future.

I like the versions with the less voluminous bottoms (perhaps could also work with a straight leg but not oversized boyfriend pant?) since the topper itself is quite long/voluminous and is being worn as a long blazer rather than a coat/outerwear. Sooo love this color on you. I think your gray hair actually makes the color work even better, if that's possible.
