More shoes and a boho? top for your fab eyes

Recently, I asked about two pair of shoes (and two sunnies!)

and since then I've received the other two pair of shoes up for review.
I really need your help!
Pics 1-3 are the new shoes and top (Elizabeth and James wedge sandals in two colors)
Pics 6-7 are the "old" shoes I need to make a decision on.
It's not about finances, but about needs and closet space.
I appreciate your help!

Of these I like the black x wedges best. I don't like the E+J black ones at all, although the nudes are a bit better.

Loving the nude pair on you! If you can only keep one pair, go for the nudes.

How many are you looking to whittle it down to? Two out of four? Or just one?

And would you say you have more of a need for black or for nude?

I think of the first 2 pair I prefer the black ones. But overall if I were to pick just one, I'd pick the one on the right in photos 6 and 7... it's unique.

I need both, Sparky. The clogs are a bit different than both sandals, and I'd wear the clogs with flare jeans or maxi (eek) dresses, not with shorts.
The black wedge sandals are more of a practical buy, but I adore the E&J wedges.
I think for me it's a matter of, are they all 10s? If not, I don't want to "duplicate".
I really don't have many sandals, and my goal this summer was to shop for my primary season (summer) as opposed to "getting by".

I like the strappier black sandals best. I think the color of the nude ones is not the right colors for you- too light or too yellowish or something.

Oh sorry I didn't realize the top was up for discussion.
It is really cool, but I'm having the same issue with it that I had with some of your keep/donate dresses from a while ago. It is amazing on you and I want to love it but the print is very large scale. Large scale prints can sometimes be not as flattering as they should be.

I really like the blouse. How would you style it? With skinnies only? In other words, can it be remixed in your wardrobe?

I wouldn't keep the top (for the reasons mod girl said, it makes you look bigger than you are). The color of the nude wedges isn't bad, but I think it prevents them from being a 10. You have other nude/tan shoes that I like better on you.

First, are all three of the black wedges equally comfortable?

I would take a look at these new shoes with the ones that you already have (just quickly looking back at your blog, I'm thinking nine west http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hE3e.....40/004.JPG, MK greenwich bootie http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-p5p0.....00/205.JPG, DV for target http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pPMS.....40/156.JPG, and DKNY http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-lGW4.....40/130.JPG). They aren't all black, and they aren't all wedges, but the shoes you own have some overlap with the new ones. So what I would think about is what's the benefit added of these new shoes. Are there events or outfits where your current collection doesn't cut it, and which of these new shoes will fill that need?

I'm not sure what the answer is, but I'm certain that with a bit of thinking (and perhaps trying on some different outfits) you will figure out what deserves a place in your closet!

Love the E & J black! Love. The nudes are not (IMO) the right color of nude for you. Also, I think the top is great!

I like the top with shorts or my lighter wash flare jeans...but I'm still on the fence.
Kate, the first shoes you linked to are very uncomfortable, so while the sandals in pics 6-7 are nearly identical, they'd actually replace those sandals.
The clogs would be "just for fun" and honestly I probably wouldn't wear them till "fall".
I think I'm the most unsure of the E&J wedges.
I have some tan sandals, but no nude ones really, so I like the E&J's to fill that "hole".
I think as of now I'll return the black E&Js...and ponder some more. Ack.

OK. I love the strappy black sandals (from the "older" two options) ~ those are a 10 in my book and definite keepers. I like the nude E&J but also wonder about the color against your skin. I just am not sure from the picture; maybe it's the camera flash off the shiny leather? But I really do like them on you, so if I were you and thought the color went fine with my skin, I'd keep. The clog sandals will be a 10 with those 70s style outfits you envision.

The black E&Js somehow just aren't a 10 to me.

FWIW, I think you would rock a pair of baggy short shorts with a shorter heel

I still like the original black strappy sandals best for black sandals, Sarah. They are "flop proof flattering" for your style and body type. I can see you get a lot of wear out of the same silhouette in a low contrasting colour.

The black strappies are staying. I know I'll get a ton of use from them.
I'm going to keep the nude cork sandals and return the black ones and keep my eye out for different shorts options.
I usually don't wear such a high heel with shorts, FWIW.

I really like that top! I could see it with a black pencil skirt--love the idea of the contrast! Of all of the sandals, I prefer the "older" two: the strappy black ones and the clogs.
