Some more pics as requested. I think the cardi "slims down" the look. Being short and busty i think the Dress on it's own makes me look bigger than I am

It just seems like so much dress. The large scale print kind of seems to overwhelm you. It looks big all over.

Lynne I love jeans/leggings and tunic combo. I will have a play with everyones suggestions but I think this dress may be "ending it's journey" in my wardrobe :). Say Lynne, are you Australian? I know you don't live here, just wondered. Thanks so much for your input

Hmmm. I agree the cardi really helps it. And the backwards neckline is pretty. But...not sure it is worth it. Though it's a lovely print. Maybe Lynne is onto something with the tunic idea? Then it might not seem like so much pattern for you?

What about belting it under the sweater? That would shorten the length a little, define your waist, and break up the expanse of pattern. I do like the pattern very much but agree that shorter would be more flattering.

I vote to shorten a bit, too. I think that would make it much more wearable and less like the dress is taking over pretty you. I do agree with your point about the cardigan - amazing how well that works!

Hi KP, thank you but I feel this is one if my least stylish moments:). Am thinking I will hem the dress, just working out best length? Above the knee, on the knee?? Not sure. Shorter it could look fun over jeans?

Would love to, Deborah! I haven't met any of the Aussie YLF-ers IRL, but I feel that I know them. You live in the BEST shopping city in Australia :). My in-laws live in Healesville, and my favourite aunt lives in Richmond, very close to the Bridge Road outlet stores. We often trawl the road, buying nothing but a coffee but loving every minute of it.

Just wanted to pop back and say a big thank you for all your thoughts and suggestions. And to let you know that I did pin the dress (didn't post photo tho) and decided that it just wasn't "special" enough. I didn't get excited when I put it on and have decided to pass it on.
