More NAS including white T&P leather jacket

Yes, the jackets were the clear winner in NAS world for me. Most everything else I tried was "fine" but the jackets just sang to me.

1-3 I've wanted a white leather moto for a while, so this Truth and Pride was the first thing I checked out. Definitely runs large, so the small works on me and even has a bit of room. I love the back detail.

4 Amber Sun color block sweater. Roomy fit in the medium but I like the ease, colors, and zip detail.

5 Naya oxfords in teal. Soooo comfy! Kind of rounded in the toe but I think they would be cute with skinnies for fall.

6. Trouvé clutch in teal! Ahh, I keep finding fab clutches. Great price and I like the leather pull detail.

7-8 Two new bracelets. A mixed metal silver and rose gold chunky chain, and a silver and white leather cuff.

What do you think? Especially the jacket. I'm leaning very strongly towards keeping it unless y'all see something glaringly off about it.

The clutch, sweater and bracelets are all fab and making me drool. KEEP! I'll sit out on the oxfords, they're not my thing but I can see how they would get a lot of wear.

Oh now THIS is what I'm talkin' about! (Sorry to disagree with Denise). It may just be a color thing with me. I know you already have a burgundy jacket and I prefer white to the Tigal wine so take it FWIW. But I love, love LOVE this on you. Love.

The other things are very nice too, and a girl cannot live on jackets alone. I especially like the sweater, the clutch and the chain link bracelet.

Everything is fab! Especially the jacket. If you have to choose between the two jackets, I'd go with whatever one is less of a duplication in your wardrobe. They are both wonderful on you. This one seems a little more classic to me--perhaps because of the length. (I mean that as simply an observation, neither a pro or con.)
I've been considering those shoes, and they look much nicer on you than they do online. I'll see if they're at the store for me to try on tomorrow. I like how the clutch goes with them (if my monitor doesn't deceive me).

I too like the back detail in the jacket. The shoes, jewelry and top are very nice but not as amazing as either of the jackets.

I'm not a fan of the clutch, but I don't think my eye is "trained" for clutches.

I think I must be the only one who does not like this jacket. I didn't like it on Elle, either... I just don't find it flattering for some reason. The convertible YA is a million times better IMO.

I do like the rest a lot, and I want that cuff in cognac and gold!

It's all a great haul. White moto has that great fit and then those unexpected details. I particularly love the clutch, the second cuff and the Amver Sun sweater, which is to die for.

Umm, not crazy about the white moto either. I think the fit could be sharper at the waist, I don't like how the pocket puckers. The shoulder is also a bit too wide. I am not sure if it is the photo, does it have shoulder pads? Maybe that's the style. The rest is amazing.

I am not a fan of this one, I much prefer the burgundy one. There is something about the cut of this one that looks strange to me.

The mixed reactions on the jacket are so interesting. I wonder what is going on. Maybe Angie will be able to put her finger on it.

I saw she gave you a K rating on the other jacket and I am glad you will keep it; it's gorgeous.

I had that Amber Sun sweater in my cart, but I hadn't pulled the trigger because I wanted to get a sense whether I should order S or XS. It looks great on you, Janet!

Love the other stuff, too, especially the clutch.

I too feel something is off about the fit of the moto and must mention the burgundy one is to die for...Love that it can become a vest! Wonder what Angie's take will be on the jacket???

Jewelry is always nice, and it takes up so little room. :). Comfy shoes are a must, and these look like almond toe to me, which I,love. I think pointy toed ones are very uncomfortable, and I have tried on over a dozen comfort brand pairs to find ones that would work.

I loved the white moto jacket until I read the other posts. Now I worry my eyes are missing something!

How interesting that the white jacket is so polarizing! I actually like that this one has a slightly less fitted moto feeling to it. It has a little room in the body. I would probably wear it unzipped most of the time (that's true for most of my jackets). I have other motos that are more of that traditional fitted type, and I kind of enjoy this one for the change of pace. When hubs gets home, I'll have to see what he thinks. And I would love to hear from Angie if she pops in, although I know her days are crazy right now.

Firecracker, the clutch does match the shoes, you are correct! The SA pointed that out in the store.

ETA: Thank you for all the feedback, varied as it is! I do appreciate honest opinions.

It can be a little confusing when a piece is not universally loved, but sometimes it just goes that way. Sometimes the magic is in the styling. How many times has there been an item that didn't get a huge amount of love from someone until they saw it in the context of an outfit? I've seen it before with some of my purchases and a bunch of other YLFers' too. Still, the feedback is hugely valuable -- I am looking closer to be sure I'm not just infatuated when the piece needs to be suitable for a long-term relationship.

Ha! I guess I fall on the love the burgundy Yigal/this is nice but it is not the same love at first sight for me camp. I love the sweater though. And I am prepared to fall in love with future stylings.

Angie, thank you! I'm glad I see what you see! This is a change of pace for me, along the lines of the drapey silk pants -- a bit more ease. I will still wear my bodycon fits and slim motos, but this is a fun alternative. I am relieved I am not just wishing this jacket into looking good.

I think the white jacket might be one of those items that is more of a slam dunk fit on a straighter body rather than a curvier one. I actually really love it on Elle. If it had been cut any straighter, it would have been too roomy through the midsection and would not have worked on me at all.
