The stunning Luxirare outfits Angie just posted in her inspiration thread, reminded me I've been meaning to share this outfit for a while now.

I would call this sophisticated modern classic with a delicious menswear inspired touch. Would you agree?
I love this look. The strong, architectural lines, the cut of the jacket, the slim trousers, those simple ankle boots, the parts of the scarf peeking out. A very strong and clean look.
(I could probably do without the "tie thingie" dangling down, but that was probably done for extra photo effect:-)

I wish I could link back to the source. All I can tell is that I saved the picture in November 2011. If someone recognizes it, I'd be happy to add the link.

Love it. The austere look and clean lines are perfect. It has an edgy look to me even though the idea and fabrics are classic.

Stunning--the backdrop totally supports the look but I think it would be fabulous walking around anywhere! Fun to have those outfits that you just know are YOU and make you feel as though you've found your skin!

I love this so much. Could not do it justice myself with my round, shorty, busty body type, but I'm sure you would rock the look!

Inge, it was someone on YLF who recommended tineye.com. It may work--you go there and then upload an image--if you're lucky their engine will quickly find it on the web!

This is an amazing look that I love, but it is it really classic? Boots, jeans, and jacket sound classic, but I am not sure these exact items are classic. Curious to see what everyone thinks.

The scarf is 100% classic, the colours are 100% classic, and the jacket has a classic integrity (not entirely classic to my eye). And the rest of the outfit is really modern!

With all my heart I believe that modern outfits with classic integrities cannot be beat. I'm not saying that they are the only outfits to sport! I'm saying that they can't be beat because they always look tops

Rock on classics. It's as simple as that.

I definitely see minimalism and a bit of edge here too. The outfit as a whole looks very modern, but it's built around some classic pieces and the colours are very classic too.

That's why I see it as Modern Classic. There are just so many possibilities to build very different outfits, all with a very different "personality" around a classic piece. I love that.
