So when I was in Portland buying my mint shirts they had this dress too

I liked but at the time said to myself I don't need another dress. Now I'm thinking about it more and more. Am I OD'ing on a color?

Those are both absolutely gorgeous, Anna. If you don't buy the dress, maybe you should consider that amazing clutch. It would be an easy way to add a hit of mint to any outfit you wore this spring/summer.

Really iffy on that dress. It's my experience that shapes and drapes like that require an absolutely bulge-free body underneath them. But the clutch is very classy.

Do you really REALLY like this color? I have a feeling it may date, but if you love it, that won't matter.

The dress is so pale and plain. I'm sure you could jazz it up but I like your other mint better. The clutch however, is more saturated and I like it with the tan.

I LOVE the clutch - the bold trim on the subdued mint is wonderful! It would look great with your black and grey dresses

I'm really on the fence about the dress because: I really like the simplicity and sheath body, the style can handle scarves, jackets, and top layers nicely. It would work with boots, booties, and sandals (as long as the colors play well together)

BUT did you try it on when you saw it?

I know I have a self induced fear of form-fitting jersey knit, but when somethings is THIS fitted, can you even eat dinner without everyone knowing? Some jerseys have enough substance to drape well and not cling. Others, well, not so much . . .

I love the mint clutch! The mint dress is leaving me flat, unfortunately. I'm with MNsara that the light color in a jersey can be challenging. Also, the dress itself doesn't seem to have anything in the construction that seems brilliant, if that makes sense. Plain from Helmut Lang is different than plain plain because something brilliant is going on behind the scenes. The Acne mint dress just looks like a mint dress. The mint clutch on the other hand has me drooling. The natural leather with the mint and the simple, but clever detail? Delicious!

Never mind the dress if you don't need it! It's probably a 9 more than a 10 (unless you've tried it on). Get the cute-as-cookies clutch! SO fabulous...

I love the clutch--how you can fit your hand into that opening is just too clever and chic!

I think it's a fab idea to try to find a pastel dress, but like several others I wonder about this type of light-colored, form-fitting, glorified T-shirt sort of dress. It looks like the kind of thing that would show your bra tag through it :). Just my two cents, of course! If you love it, there is certainly no harm in trying it on, eh?

Re. ODing on this color: I think the color looks really gorgeous on you, so if you are really digging it, why not get a few pieces while they are around?
