Confession...I had these already. I had them last summer and never got much wear out of them because they have this thick and rigid elastic waistband. The kind that stretches in theory but in reality squeezes back in very tightly. Too tight for my back pain issue. I didn't size up because they would have been too big overall, so they just hung there.
Brilliant idea (wow I'm slow)...I had my tailor loosen the waistband as much as she could. Now they are fantastic. Very light and cool...the coolest summer pants I've ever had. I washed on the delicate cycle and hung to dry and did not have the length shrinking issue one of the review complains about. Highly recommend if you are looking for some summer palazzo type pants but in a solid color.
