More Danier: Request for jacket fit reports and colo(u)r opinions.

In no particular, order, here are some jackets I've been eyeing. I really want a more summer-y jacket as I feel my merlot/black jackets have been too dark with some of my outfits.

If you've tried any of these jackets on in a store, can you let me know if they fit you and if you're petite or tall? I have contacted CS for measurements but I find YLF experience more valuble. I know anything that fits Suz and Shannon will probably fit me and anything that fits Sveta and Merwoman won't fit me.

Blue: Too bright? Too dark?
Olive: Too dark?
Cream: Dubious about cream/pastel as I never wear my white denim jacket.
Turquoise: I tried last year's version of this in September and it fit well.
Citron: Love this color but perhaps it is too outrageous?

well I am going to Danier this wekkto fetch a new purse once I decide which one. I am 5'4 medium build. I anticipate that I am a medium at Danier but not 100% on that. Would be happy to report back on any that you wish. My top picks are 3, 4, 1 in that order but it is completely based on colour favourites.

Glory, that would be awesome! My size is consistent at Danier, but as a petite, the waist shaping on most tops/jackets usually hits the top of my hipbones.

All I need to know is whether you wear petite tops or not and if the waist shaping hit you in the right place. I can extrapolate from there.

Update - I was at Danier today. They have soooo many jackets - ooh laa laa. The vests that Shannon discovered do not work for me at 5'4 they are simply too long. Ditto for all of the above jackets except the bone/taupe one. That one had potential. But better were the following options for a petite frame. They would likely be cropped on a taller person and perfect for me. Thankfully I ran out of time and came out unscathed. I am going back though, so if more Recon is needed let me know.

I have seen the first one that Glory reports on. It's the one that Mona tried on. I believe she is 5'3" or 5'4" and it looked fantastic on her.

#1 in your first post is the one you asked me about, right, Sylvie They did not have it in the Kingston store, but said it had gone to the outlet. They told me it could work for a petite frame.

I love the look of #3 and think it could potentially work because it is a Blink jacket. The jacket Mona's wearing, and the one that Shannon and I have both had success with, are Blink jackets. They are cut a little differently than the rest of the line, I believe. (Not that all the jackets are cut the same, but the Blink ones do seem to be more fitted at the waist area).

Glory, I think these are the two jackets you attached, correct? The first one looks like it has a lot of potential. I'm dubious about the second one because I think it's the same one Shannon just tried that didn't work out for her.

Suz, yes, I am still drooling over that first one I asked you about. I'm playing a waiting game to see if it sells out first or if they have an additional percentage off outlet sale. The Blink jackets are pretty fab on you/Shannon/Mona - perhaps Blink is really a "secret petite" line.

I *think* I might be visiting Canada in the next few months, in which case I will postpone all decisions until I can try on whatever is in stock at a store. My poor family - I'm using visiting them as an excuse to stop by Danier.

What a coincidence! I was at Danier today and tried on #3 (in mint green) and #5. Actually I am not crazy about the fit of either on me. I just posted the pics on my thread. May be these are cut for more hourglassy figures.
