Two pairs of Fidjis from Nordstrom. I heard from a SA that they will not be carrying any new Fidji styles for quite sometime. Apparently they are unable to keep up with the demand. She told me I might still find some on their website. I raced home and placed my order!

I ordered the Aerolsoles Heavy Metal Animal Print Pumps Angie featured recently. I hope they're as comfortable as she said they were. I'm looking forward to adding a bit of the wild to my wardrobe!

I found out that my Wet and Wild lip gloss could be had new on eBay. Bought one
and have been very happy that I don't have to think about finding a replacement.
So I thought I would be smart and see if there were any more to buy up of this
long discontinued product. Found a seller with 3 new ones for sale. Arrived this
morning - one sealed and two not sealed with some of the metallic lettering rubbed
off. I wrote the seller and complained. Very disappointed.

I'm expecting my l'oreal mineral powder in beige-20. Can't wait, finally converted to minerals and will never go back to pressed powder!

I am still Shopping My Closet, so no fashion items are expected.

BUT... my Marine is sending a package containing refrigerator magnets (for the collection) from Pensacola Naval Air Station, from which he recently departed, including one commemorating the Blue Angels precision flying team! Big fun!!

ETA: Do I get bonus points for this picture?

Doc Martens coming today or tomorrow, in two sizes, and I hope one of them works out! MaryK: This is a WONDERFUL photo and, YES, you deserve major points for it! Amy: I picked up the Heavy Metal pumps yesterday (in-store) and they are very comfortable! I did have to put something in the heel to accommodate my narrow ankles; I also tightened the strap one notch and they feel great.

I am technically SYC but am replacing 2 skirts, which is barely not cheating. The black wool flounce is being replaced by the gray seamed jersey skirt, and my white linen a-line is being replaced by a denim FCUK that I eyed months ago but just finally pulled the trigger on. Both are more casual and therefore, much more likely to actually be worn!

I'm supposed to be SYC too, but with all my stuff going up on ebay I am pretty much being bad.

- JCrew shirts on clearance (basics! white drapey linen tees!)

- Tall boots for biking (if do not fit, can return)

- Gray jeans (love these particular Eileen Fisher organic cotton jeans!)

- Boots from Italy (They were .99 plus $25 for shipping... no, really)

- Camisole bra for under sheerish summer tops; I scored a white one of these early in the summer and I LOVE it. It supports and looks chic rather than trampy.

I am expecting a paint brochure. I am on project home-improvement! (i.e. SYC till after Christmas. Energies must be focused somewhere.)

A Land's end package with clothes for my kids. My car insurance bill. Lots of ads for Christmas stuff on sale.

The clothes will be great, daughter needs long sleeve shirts and I got a great price on them. I am feeling very blessed this year to be able to pay my bills. I will recycle all the ads - so I am not tempted and end up not paying the bills !

Last week I got two purses in the mail (need to photograph them for you to see).

Tomorrow, I'm expecting the delivery of three trench coats. The purple trench I tried before isn't quite perfect so there'll be another trench coat showdown soon.

I'm expecting the popular ebay skull scarf and a statement gold cuff from ASOS. I have been practicing strict SYC so I'm doubly excited!

ETA: I'm also all out of moisturizer since DH started sharing mine so that'll be in too with Clinique's bonus goodies!

I'm still waiting for my suede jacket, and a pair of grey heels I bought to replace the ones that are too high and too big and going to go on eBay soon. They tried to deliver the jacket on Friday, and of course it was during the one-hour window when nobody was home. Sigh. Ah well, at least I will get it eventually!

Mo, yes it was an Ebay transaction. The post office is "investigating" the shipment but, since there was no tracking on the package, I don't have high hopes. Luckily, Paypal buyer protection is very nice.

IK, it's a Muubaa leather trench that never arrived... getting the AllSaints jacket as my alternative dressy-casual topper.

I don't have anything on the way, but I just received my black Born boots that work with skirts last week. I only have one more pair of boots I plan to buy and then I'm set for winter, I think.

I am really excited about this--I found this Lafayette leather jacket/blazer at Nordstrom Rack. It was on sale at NAS but I bought a bunch of other stuff at that time so I never tried it on. I've been looking for a leather jacket, moto or otherwise, and kept thinking about that one because it is such a lovely caramel color (it's called ochre but it looks like a cognac or orange-brown). I like camel and brown, but I'm thinking I need something warmer for my skin tone. And also, they styled it with my favorite Lafayette 148 leather and tweed skirt! So it would be perfect!

Anyways, saw it was on sale at Rack online but only in size 8 & 14 and I think I need 4 or 6. So I called around and found the right sizes at one of the Rack stores and they're going to do a "charge and send" so hopefully I will get it sometime this week! I have high hopes for this one!
