I followed a link from here to ModCloth. I have never heard of the store and I love some of the items I see.

Anyone have experience buying from them?

I know there are a few die-hard Modcloth fans on the YLF forum, but until they chime in, I can offer my one experience with them. I first heard about Modcloth here on the YLF forum too and bought this scarf from their site about 2 months ago:

No problems whatsoever with shipping or delivery. The background color of the scarf is a little grayer than in the online photos, but I had read the online reviews warning about that. I found that I love the scarf anyway. Sadly, a lot of Modcloth's items are too youthful for a 38-year old woman like myself, but I still have fun browsing their merchandise.
