MK dress: would it work for apple shape?

I seen a lot of lovely MK dresses being posted here over recent months. This one on from Bloomingdales has recently caught my eye:

Gorgeous colour, gorgeoues neckline. Do you think the draping/ruching over the tummy bits would hide or would accentuate appley bits??

Ooooh LOVE! The fabric has potential to be clingy HOWEVER because of all the draping, I think it would work fine. More than anything, it looks like it wants to be on a body with slimmer hips, which you have.

It would be pretty fierce with those Sofft cage heels. Just saying...

I guess you'll never know until you try. (Although, in my case, I'm pretty sure it would accentuate my pear-ness...)

Oh NK they do look similar - 38 inches is long for a petite dress though, isn't it?

What's ordering/returning from Bloomingdales website like, does anyone know? I wish Nordstroms had it too!!!!

Nordies has it in patterns and I have seen the patterned version on bodies several times. I have a rectangular client with slim hips, short waist, short neck and strong shoulder line who pulls this frock off flawlessly. She turns heads when she wears it with wedged heels. Truly.

Hmmm. I'm not sure about the solid colour and clinging, Tam. The pattern I'd be more confident about suggesting.

It must be the model shape making them look different. I think you are right about it working on very slim, rectangular bodies in that case!!!
