Hi! I am continuing with my maybe unimpressive, but steadfast cataloging of July's WIW's. This is the last 3 days.
Sunday out to lunch at a Gulfside restaurant for yummy seafood. Very casual environment, despite the delish food. The same dreaded grommet flip flops I really want to replace with a decent olive sandal. And the coffee cup skirt that was much maligned a few years ago when I first joined. Glad I went with my gut and kept it anyway. It is, after all, a whimsical print, no? That's a trend . . .
Monday staying in to watch the rain and lightning all day. Cozy was the name of the day.
Today, might walk down to the store later if I'm up for the heat. But if not, just lounging in my new duds This is the dot top I decided on instead of the navy fluttery one that felt overly ladylike. It's more me with the bit of edge from the faux leather straps and buckles. Also the black fits in my existing wardrobe better. I'm happy with this choice.
Bonus - belts Heather kindly sent to me. Had to just string them all on me like a Christmas tree for a quick pic asap lol! The top belt isn't quite me, so if any other YLFers are interested, let me know. It's H&M. Just a little too gold for my taste.
Also, the hair clip I ordered off eBay from China. Took my math skills to figure the circumference from the diameter listed, and it still doesn't quite fit around my fat ponytail Ends up I didn't account for an internal piece that takes up space. Might have to get some pliers and break that bad boy off to make room!
