Missoni for Target - Score!

I am thrilled with my Missoni for Target buy. It is a silk scarf much similar to this but in bolder, more vibrant colors. I have been searching for a graphic print, bold silk scarf forever, so this fills a wardrobe hole and I'm still within my SYB of $25 a month. Woot!

There were probably 10 items in all left in store of the ENTIRE collection and it is just as well - I don't need the tempation!

The site has been down almost all day. I started checking at 9am and I was finally able to get an order through at around 11:30am. I bought way more than I should have. I was just so happy that mostly everything was still in stock so I went a little crazy, lol. Fortunately, Target's close by so I can return anything that I don't want..

I don't understand how it is worth her time. Usually only a small percentage of items are standouts in each collection, i.e. they resell for more than MSRP. So her time to purchase, plus time to take photographs, plus time to list on eBay, minus eBay and Paypal fees, minus time to return items that didn't sell = poor return on investment.

Bella, that were exactly my thoughts, mostly resellers cleaning out the stores.

DL, yeah that just sounds like way too much trouble for minimal returns. But considering how bidding wars can get on ebay, maybe it does turn out to be worth their while. I don't condone it either way.

I think the ebay sellers are a little out of control myself. It is crazy that something that just came out today is already sold out and on e-bay.

I think Target should institute a shopping limit

- 1 of each size for clothing and shoes
-10 of each for small housewares (plausible you'd have a need)
- 2-3 of each for larger housewares (again plausible)

Yay for you Vani! Those resellers are terrible! They should either limit purchase quantities or bring the stock out in stages, to at least give a few people a shot. And think how much online business Target has lost today from their site being down ALL day.

I know every Christmas it is a battle trying to find the "hot" toy item in stock because the eBayers and craigslisters have bought them all up and are asking ridiculous prices for the one and only thing your child wants for Christmas. Grrrrrrrr! You have to either play their game (i.e., pay the price), disappoint your child or maybe luck into a return at a store.
