I don't normally start new threads at work but I had to write about what just happened:

Remember how I always say that as a shy person, I dress to give myself a voice? Today my art director told me--completely voluntarily (i.e. no feeding from me)--that even though I'm so quiet, she knows there is more to me than meets the eye because of my fashion sense.

So in other words: See? It works!
