Missing YLF'ers

Just thinking of how I've been missing Ceit and ClearlyClaire and Parsley and recently Una and a few others here on YLF. I hope they are doing well and might pop in again soon.

Me, too. I spoke with Ceit the other day and she is doing okay.

Just popping in to say how much I love seeing posts like this. It makes me feel so good about the community here. Plus, I also miss these women. In the past year, I feel I've gotten to know them. I miss Dr Lyn and her dresses, Ceit and her awesome boots, ClearlyClaire and her small fab closet ... everyone here has something wonderful to offer. I don't have the offline relationships many here do, but I still miss the posts. xxx

Me too, I always feel sad when someone leaves. It's like getting to know a friend and then all of a sudden they go missing...not knowing why and having no way to ever see them again. Sad!

I'm glad to see that I'm not alone in my feeling - so many others I'm glad you've mentioned. Aida always has such great posts and I miss seeing Dr. Lyn's dresses too.

Maybe they'll get our vibes and visit soon :-).

I, too, miss Dr. Lyn and also Day Vies. If they are lurking, I hope they know we miss them and their fab style. I am sure Day is very busy with her baby.

Hey texstyle, thanks for thinking of me! I miss so many people too, and I didn't intend to be one of those missing. I was in Florida visiting my folks, and then (was going to post about this separately) my MIL passed away suddenly last night, so I'm heading back east for the funeral this week. I would love for life to calm down so I can get back to visiting here more often. Just know that I'm always thinking of YLF and the many folks I've come to know here!

Yes. We miss all the members who enrich our forum. But that's life, and we all have our priorities. We will welcome them with open arms whenever they feel like returning. They must not feel pressured in any way.

The flip side to this is that golden oldies like Shiny, Louise, Tanya and Michelle are back, which is great. And newbies join and become very active. So it all works out.

Thanks ladies... your thoughts are appreciated. I was lucky to have a MIL who loved and welcomed me dearly with never a word of criticism. And I adored her too. After all, she raised the guy I married!

Angie, you are right about not wanting to pressure people. But it's also nice to be missed, and I generally try to post when I'm going to disappear for a bit just so folks know what's up. I do enjoy seeing new members and returning longtime veterans alike!

I'm really sorry about your MIL too, Una. I know your husband's family is very tight. And also there's been a lot of loss in his family recently if I'm recalling correctly. It must be hard for him, not living in the vicinity of them all.
