In Oslo until at least June 2, possibly through June 4. Headed to Bergen then tromso possibly Svalbard .

I'm a little south but Janet and Ingunn are in Oslo. Both have not been very active recently. PM them? I guess harmonica is a little north though, not sure about others

Oh so tempting. It's a part of the world I've always wanted to see. And Air Canada occasionally flies direct to Iceland, which I could tie in to the trip.......:)

Yes, I bet you are tired of everyone assuming all of the Scandinavian countries are as close together as New York and New Jersey

I am in Stavanger bj111. About 6 hours drive from Bergen . And an hours journey via plane from Oslo so pretty south :D. Do let me know if you are headed this way

ramya...i AM headed to stavanger after i get back from svalbard. i was thinking of flying to bergen, driving to stavanger to hike to pulpit rock then take the train back to oslo. i'm planning to do this between june 7-10(ish). with my schedule in flux, let me know if some dates work better for you than others. my only limit is to be back in oslo by the 12th for a flight to reykjavik the following morning.

I'd beg you to buy me a copy of my Oak magazine, which my bookstore stopped carrying - but I've already ordered the new issue and the one I'm missing is a back issue. That and it weighs like two pounds. That would be excessively rude. Hehe!

Wow! Hope you are enjoying your trip. Tromsø is definately one of my favorite cities! I visited Reykjavik and Akureyri a few years ago. Very beautiful country.
