Mini cross-body bag - the first few. Would love your input!

Gotta love Zappos and Endless - both brought me a batch of mini cross-body bags the day after I ordered. Together with one that I picked up at Nordstrom Rack yesterday, I now have several at home and am starting the weeding out. (I always do this with shoes and bags - order many, and then agonize over the selection...) Here are pictures of the three I like best. Would love to get your feedback!
(Note that I'm not even sure I'll pick amongst these three. E.g., while I really like the tiny Hobo International one, I'm wondering whether the green version wouldn't be even more fun. Don't have that at home, but you can see it here: http://www.amazon.com/HOBO-INT.....B003WEALEQ)

As Angie always says, the devil really is in the details. For instance, I haven't figured out yet what the best length is for these bags. And some of them don't let you adjust the strap, which I think is dumb.

1) Hobo International, not sure about the model name, this is the one from the Rack. Love the citrus color! The strap is adjustable.

2) Hobo International, Aster. One can adjust the chain though it looks a litte funky when some chain links flop around (I guess I could get them taken out.) Love the shape, the little turn lock, the patent leather, and the chain. It's teeny tiny, though, which I think looks fun but might be impractical. Also, while I love the look and versatility of the cream, I wonder if I would enjoy the green one even more (see link above.) I'm quite enchanted with this tiny bag, but it's also twice as expensive as the one above.

3) Pietro Alessandro. Love the buttery soft leather and the zippers. Strap is not adjustable. Feeling iffy about the gold hardware - I favor silver.

Very clever to order lots of bags and try them at home. I just ordered 17 bathing suits in different cup sizes.

No 1: I love the colour, but the shape is just so-so, I think.
No 2: Not fond of cream, but it's gorgeous in green or orange!
No : Love! I'm currently considering a similar bag in red.

I wouldn't know which one to pick, either no 2 in a different colour or no 3. Tough choice.

I vote #3 but I am biased. I have a very similar one in blue.

I wanted to add that Target has a very similar bag to the third one:

They have more colors in stores.
My bag, which also similar to that, is from Nine West.
My point is if you are particular about having a one of a kind item, then this might not be the bag for you. You will probably see a lot of other women around carrying a similar bag.

Bella, I really like the look of the Target one (and the price!) But how does the material feel? Does it look cheap given it's not real leather?

Sorry Antje, I've seen it in stores but I haven't examined it up close so I don't know about the quality.

Antje, number one gets my vote. It looks like the perfect size and hits at just the right spot on your body. Number two seems a tad small (almost like a wallet size) and perhaps hits a little too high on your body? Number three is nice; it just has more bells and whistles than the other two (zippers, etc.), which gives it a less streamlined look....but this is just a matter of preference.

If the look you're going for is clean, subtle, and uncluttered, I'd go with #1.

Antje, I think you should keep one and two and check out the Target crossbody that Bella posted. I have seen those in the store, but haven't examined closely for quality. But I vote another fun color in that style!

A crossbody is the best for shopping, all-day excusions, vacations, concerts and everyday use!

I own yellow, purple and sequin crossbody bags.

My vote is for #1 because of the clean lines....just me though. Now I have to say that green bag would have me scarfing it up without a thought. I'm not very adventurous with my clothing but I do love me some funky accessories ;D

Fantastic that they arrived already!

As far as style is concerned, my favourite is still the Hobo International, and yes, that green would be fantastic. However, I feel it is a little too small or maybe it's just because it sits a little higher on you. I prefer the length of bag 1 and 3.

I like 1 but wished it had the fun lock detailing or something else 'on the front'.

3 is nice too, I don't really mind the gold hardware (but I hear you, especially with the yellow of the bag), and personally I would remove the tassels;-)

I adore the second Hobo one (they also had it in orange and red, yes?), but when I saw it at Nordie's it was TINY! Have you tested to see if what you need to carry will actually fit? And yes, it was way pricier than a couple of the other Hobo versions.

I like #2 both for the length and style, but #1 for the color. I really like the chain more than a strap on these for some reason. The third bag is my least favorite. It just seems blah and utilitarian compared to the first one in about the same color.

There is no competition in my book, Antje. #1 is KILLER and hands down the best to my eye (and I've seen it in real life too). I find #3 too conservative for your spunky style. But then, that might not be the case in real life.

I vote for the third, PIetro Allesandro bag. It's got enough room and I like the shape, it will hug your body. Agree, unadjustable is a drag but the length looks ok to me. I like to wear mine pushed back a little rather than in front.

Oh, please keep #1 - I think it's so incredibly adorable, and if you keep it, I'll get to live vicariously thru you, as I'll never have time to get to the Rack to look for one myself. I just LOVE it - everything about it!

The first one seems a little plain to me, the second a little small (although I probably carry more than most in my bag). I really love the third one, but if you're unsure, it probably isn't the right bag for you.
