Midi skirts and dresses

I intended to break my SYC commitment today and buy myself either a midi skirt or dress and I couldn't find any in the stores! Where are they???

I just bought this one at Urban Outfitters (in the blue and red print). Otherwise I haven't seen too many around.

ETA: I would check Talbots too--they are definitely doing some longer length skirts and dresses this spring.

Thank you, Marley. I was wondering that, too. There are some on ASOS, but I don't think they would be midi on me. Could work better for you, though.

Oh, man! You TOTALLY should have! My friend Amanda (from the swap) and I had brunch in Old Town Pasadena and then we wandered around a little and found a FAB FAB FAB boutique with all these amazing 70s-tastic clothes: http://www.veronicamclothing.c.....ations.asp . I got THREE dresses off the $10 rack (yes, you read that right -- 3 dresses for $30) and I figure as long as I paid for it with my weekly spending money in actual bills from my wallet it hardly counted as shopping. Then we went to the Goodwill and I found a fab black high-waisted midi skirt.

We'll have to plan a shopping trip some time soon, for reals.

Wow - what a successful day of shopping - tell Amanda "hi!" for me - and yes, we gotta' plan a day soon - but, I've got to wait until after we've got our moving sorted out. Also, Tarzy mentioned she wants to get together with me sometime for shopping - she lives out your way doesn't she? Maybe we could all get together?
