I was driving g to pick my DD up from soccer tonight, and was half listening to “as it happens”, one of our national radio news shows, on CBC. My ears perked up when I heard “dog Reva”. Then I hear “journalist Michelle”. It was so cool!

Michelle, if you see this, you sounded wonderful...it was so nice to hear your voice, and hear you talk about your beloved Reva. And you look so stylish in the photos posted on the AIH website.

It must be extremely difficult for Michelle to retire Reva...bitter sweet I suppose.

And it's fun that some of you remember when I got Reva mere months after joining the forum. Also, of course y'all noticed my clothes. :p I'm not even sure what I'm wearing in most of those pics, but I do know the blue dress you speak of. Fun fact: it was part of my very first batch of NAS purchases! It's hanging in my closet at this very moment, and it remains one of my favourite items of clothing of all time. It's a magic dress that's fit me perfectly across some serious size fluctuations.

Having spoken with Michelle on the phone, I can confirm these lovely compliments regarding her voice.

Michelle, I sent a link to this piece to a dear friend who has raised many puppies for service training. She often can't know what happens to the pups after they leave her and I'm sure this piece made her happy.

My eyes welled up hearing Michelle talk about and honour Revie. Remember when Michelle first got her, and McClure retired. Now it’s Reva’s turn. MY WORD. Dogs are incomparable. There are no words to do them justice.
