Metallic bag and keep/cull boots

I just lost my post here we go again.

Ok, a while ago I asked about this Sak bag. I went ahead and ordered the metallic one, but I haven't had time to ponder whether or not it works for me. (yes, I'm a thinker). What do you say?

Also, these are a couple pairs of older boots that mostly just sit in my closet. The black ones could be 6 or 7 years old. They are Schutz and at the time the most expensive shoes I had ever bought. I don't really reach for boots for work except with skirts, which I NEVER considered for this shaft height. And since I next to never wear heels in my non-work life, they just don't get worn.

The reddish ones are like 3 or 4 year old DVs. I really love the look, but I rarely wear them. They aren't super comfortable for doing a lot of walking. Are they too tall for my legs? Do the black look decent with a skirt? Should I consign both or try to incorporate them more often?

I love the reddish boots, why do you think you don't wear them? The shape of the toe and heel are making the black boots look kind of dated to me.

Hm, I think I don't wear them, because I'm just not a heel person. I mostly wear heels to work, which is usually pumps, or if I go out at night... a rarer and rarer occasion lol.

I think the bag is really nice and would work well with so many wardrobe pieces. The first pair of boots look a little dated with the toe shape. The second pair look good but if the heel is too high and not comfortable to wear then from my experience they will just sit in your closet. I vote make room for new boots!

I was so busy looking at the boots that I forgot to look at the bag. I would let go of both boots and go with some that have a lower and sturdier or no heel. A low heel can dress up or down and may be used in both your casual and date nights.

You all are on to something with the toe shape on the black ones being dated. I guess that's what happens when you just let a good item sit for so long

Are the boots Fluevogs? If they are I'd keep them - because they are funky rather than trendy they don't actually go out of style imo.

Nah they aren't Fleuvogs. Guess they are on their way out. I'm obsessed with the bag though. It is staying!
