Merona Cream Moto - HELP please!

Hey ladies!

I need a favor! I adore the cream moto jacket from target everyone is wearing. It finally showed up at my local target the day before I went in for major back surgery; unfortunately I didn't have the money to buy it at the time.

My problem is the doc still won't clear me to drive for at least another 4 weeks, so there is no way I will be able to make it to target to score one before they disappear completely.

I was wondering if any ladies out there might spot one at their local Target and could buy it and ship it to me. I will pay all costs... tax, shipping, everything via Paypal.

Thanks ladies... you all look unbelievable in the coat and I envy you!

So sorry to hear about your back surgery. I hope you are on the road to recovery. What size are you looking for? I was planning on going to my Target tomorrow for that very same reason.

Thank you Debora, I am actually feeling much better now than I had been before surgery, so I am thankful for that. It's just a much longer road to recovery than I had hoped.

I was thinking a large, but I was just reading another post that says it runs big, so I am going to say I should go with a medium.

Gosh you are such a doll for offering to help me!!

I also will be at Target tomorrow in search of Carole's/Queenie's dress(!) and will see if they have a medium moto. If Debora scores, no problem, I will just return it, but I found them hard to track down here in a size I wanted to try, so no telling if Debora (or I) will succeed.

I had actually bought myself a Small, but returned it because I found a JouJou cream moto that was a bit shorter on me (better). In JouJou I needed a medium.

That may not help much. . .

Kendra, sending you many, many good vibrations and chicken soup your way for your recovery.

Those jackets seem to run larger across the board. I would definitely suggest sizing down. With broad shoulders and a big bust, I was still able to size down from M to S. I'm also going to call around the other local Targets and check.

There's a Target right by my office, so I will try to pop in and check if I have time tomorrow in case no one else lucks out.

Kendra, I haven't tried it on, but I've been admiring it on everyone who has posted a picture of it on the forum. I'll let you know if I have any luck.

Yes I am feeling much better, especially compared to how I had been feeling before surgery. I had been in severe pain down both legs for almost 6 months. It had really started to wear on my mental state in a way I had never experienced before. Now, 2 weeks post-op I am moving around much easier, and the pain is at a minimum, so much so that I am off all pain meds completely. I still have 4-8 weeks before I can expect to return to normal activity, and I should expect to need another surgery in 5 years, but I plan to use those years getting into the best shape I can to try and stave it off!

Kendra, sorry to report back that I didn't have any luck with the cream moto at my Target. I had them call several other Targets in the area and none of them had the cream moto. One store was showing a small and medium on the computer but not in the store.

They did have the black one, though, if you are interested. I picked up two of them ( black) in small, one for my daughter and one for myself, which I'll post a picture of later for opinions. Let me know if you want one in black and I can go back for a medium.

Once again, sorry no luck. Maybe one of the other ladies will have better luck.

Now that you and your daughter have tried it, would you agree it runs large?

I noticed they have the black one available online so if all else fails I will just get black there.

I looked today too, but they only had cream motos in L and XL. I can tell you it does run a bit large - I usually wear a medium, and my other moto (the one I'm probably returning) is a junior's Large, but the Target one is a Small. The medium was too big.

Kendra, yes I agree that it does run large. The medium was too big for me. I'm getting ready to post some photos of it and also a cobalt trench that I picked up there in medium. The small trench was too snug and the medium may be too big. Just got to put them on photobucket...

Sorry I couldn't help. Hope someone else can find it. I would have preferred the cream, also. The black may be outside my comfort zone.

Kendra, I called all the local stores today and all I could find are L, XL and XXL in cream. Maybe someone will return or they will release more inventory! I got to target almost everyday (2 mins from work). I'll keep an eye out for it.

Kendra - I just got home and no luck at Target They gave me two other Target stores that showed "1" of the White Medium in their computer. I called both, but neither store actually had it. . .

They couldn't tell me if they would will get more in. One person even told me it was discontinued, but I'd take that with a grain of salt.

Kendra - I actually found an M at Target today (one that told me on the phone they didn't have one -- argh!)
