Yay! I have been focusing on burgundy lately so I selfishly hope the color is right and you gift us with a styling session so I can see all the fun ways you mix burgundy .

I'm glad you are adding them. I have quite a merlot capsule myself and would pounce on these booties but I have learned that if a shoe fits your foot it will most certainly NOT fit mine. Team high volume feet here.

ETA: if anyone sees a merlot, burgundy or plum bootie / boot with a low 1-2" heel, that would work on a high volume foot, let me know. Classic Docs work on my feet for reference. And all Birkenstocks the B and D width both (size down in the D width).

Big YES from me. I had a merlot square toe ankle boot last time square toes were trendy (early/jmid 00's?) and they were so versatile.

Think you need them-for a darker version which is not black or navy, and you really have the complementar pieces, too!

I think the color and style look great and if they fit you well, would be a perfect addition, even if a duplicate by color.

Burgundy boots are surprisingly hard to find, given that the colour is so popular and versatile. Kind of like teal. You gotta grab it when you see it.

Late to this, but here to say that I found the color to be quite oxblood rather than red or brown. I'm keeping them. Hope they work for you as well!

Yes to those boots because I got a pair of oxblood/burgundy calf boots from Anthro last year, which I'll have to weat this year.
