my bf is looking for work, and in addition to searching for durable leather work shoes, we are also looking for a nice work watch. i've read that the best kind are a sleek bracelet, stainless steel, face proportional to his size, water-resistant, with minimal flashy colors. is this correct?

what brands/styles are good? granted we are on a tight budget, but maybe santa can give him something special for christmas

also, party season is fast approaching. he is in dire need of a smart pair of dark denim jeans and a shirt (he currently has ONE, and exclaimed to me, 'isn't that enough?')
