I love the menswear look. However, I have trouble implementing it sometimes, because actual menswear is always miles too big for me, and often the feminized versions are not quite right.
Specifically, I'd been looking for a vee-neck sweater vest with an argyle pattern for ages. Couldn't find one anywhere. Then yesterday, when ordering Christmas pajamas from Hanna Andersson for my kids, I noticed that they had the EXACT vest I'm looking for -- but in the boys' section! And it was on promotion sale. So I took a chance and ordered it. They have a table that shows the actual garment measurements, and ordered the one that's 34" across the chest and 31" at the waist. I want it to look kind of shrunken, so that sounds like it might fit. We'll see. I might be delusional. But if it does, I'll post about it, because this could be an option for all you other petite ladies. Kids' clothing tends to be a lot less expensive than women's clothing, even if it's high quality.
