Men's Green Dress Shoes?

I know some of you ladies have mad online shopping skills, so I need your help! A guy friend asked me to find him a pair of dress shoes or boots online. (He's not big on computers.) Here's the catch - he needs them in a saturated green, such as crayon or kelly green, size 10. (Before your eyes pop out, they're for stage wear.)

I've looked at all the main shoe places online (zappos, endless, 6pm etc) and done google searches, and here's what I've come up with so far. A few pairs come really close, but they only have size 10 in the first two. The "Apple Tucano" is still on the light side, and I'm not sure how he'd feel about alligator on the second pair...

Any ideas?? I'd imagine there's a pair in that color and size out there somewhere, it's just a matter of finding them!

Depending on where you live and how far you are from a big city, it is possible to find a men's vintage clothing and shoe store. I've seen quite a few in my state's capital and other large cities that sell vintage shoes in great condition. From what I saw in these, there were more unique colors and styles of shoes. Try your yelllow pages and make a few calls to see if any of the owners of these sorts of stores can help you out.

You may be able to have a shoe repair shop dye a pair of shoes the color you want (if they are a lighter color to begin with, probably not black or dark brown).

I've had a look around, but can't come up with much either (and boy, there are some seriously hideous shoes out there!!-)
LauraElizabeth is right though, you might be able to find something in vintage stores.

OK, I'm am the queen of improvising for plays. (I have no acting ability what so ever, but my daughter loves to perform).

Do they HAVE to be shoes? Would a converse sneaker have the same effect? It would be very easy to find them in bright green. Or he could get white and paint them.

My other idea would be to go to Sal's (Salvation Army) or any other thrift store, and buy a pair a white shoes and spray paint them green. They are for stage, they don't need to last, and they don't need to look good close up.

I should explain a little better, by "stage" I meant for concert performance wear. He is a professional singer in a male group, and they all wear suits or sport coats & ties, but with a funky edge and interesting shoes or boots with pointy toes, etc. (They shop a lot in Chicago.) He's probably the most "classic" dresser among them, so it definitely needs to be a quality pair of shoes.
