Hmm...I dated a man built like your husband for several years, but he was a very classic dresser - Brooks Brothers, Thomas Pink, Ralph Lauren, etc. He had a lot of tailoring done - pants taken in at the waist, for example. I wonder if that will be true for your husband?
I like Nau - it's spendy, but the pieces are amazing quality - http://www.nau.com. I love the blazers and the men's shirts especially. The cuts can be on the long and lean side.
I know, I'm a preppy, but I really do like J.Crew. And the cuts are pretty generous for men, I have found.
I was looking at the men's complete looks at Nordstrom's just now: http://shop.nordstrom.com/c/me.....in=leftnav
Anything in there strike you as stuff he would definitely wear or not wear?
Sorry if I'm being overenthusiastic - I really do love shopping for men's clothing, but I can calm down now!
