I hope that is true, for your sake. I guess I am spoiled here in the US where I expect stores to stay open until 9 or 10pm. (And I expect them to be open Saturday and Sunday. )

Yes it is quite a different scene here, though a lot more available than when I was a kid (only sat morning and thurs nights, then). I always have a wry smile when hearing parenting advice like "shop at night when your kids are in bed".My husband worked Thurs nights so that was never an option!
