Melbourne meet up?

I will be in Melbourne for a few days in October & have a free day on 23rd. I may also be available on the evening of the 23rd or 24th but that isn't confirmed yet. It would be great to catch up if you are available. I'm staying in South Yarra but won't have a car so Sth. Yarra, city, Richmond or Prahran would be best for me. I realise it's a work day but thought I'd ask as I'd hate to miss an opportunity to meet

I'd love to, but I don't think I could get away from work (though I usually don't need an excuse to head southward). But if anyone's ever in Sydney, let me know! I'm on the look out for a fab shopping buddy!

froggieb - My daughter lives in Sydney so I am up there fairly often. The only shopping I usually do though is for Lego with my grandson.

Mochi how can we tempt you? The shops here are full of matador clothes she says with her fingers crossed behind her back.

Can't make it I'm afraid, as I will be in Brisbane then.

I hope you don't mind if I hijack your thread to mention another possible meet-up. I did mention the other day on one of Deborah's threads that I will be in Victoria/Melbourne late Feb/early March. A few people have already indicated they are interested. I will keep track of who is interested and will do a post a bit closer to the time with possible dates.

Hmm 'not happy Jan' (remember that advert??) - Well I am down to host my Melbourne colleagues in Bendigo that day. Not something I am able to easily extricate myself from:) Having said that my department is undergoing a review and meetings and other things are being chopped and changed regularly. I am going to diarise and will let you know closer to the time should things change... did I say I am NOT happy

I could be interested in Feb as well too ladies. I have been to 2 meet up's before and the last one Deb and I went to, I dont think anyone else is still around. I would be so excited to meet up with a bunch of new faces!
