Meet-up in Chicago for NAS?

Is anyone in the Chicago area interested in going to NAS together, either pre-sale or during the sale? Both the Michigan Avenue store and Old Orchard are in my vicinity. Let me know!

Old Orchard is closest for me, although I must confess I like the store set-up and selection better at Woodfield. (I know! Woodfield is so insane, as malls go.)

Michigan Avenue is also in my vicinity, but I imagine it will be crazy-crowded with out-of-towners.

Old Orchard is closer for me too but I do love going downtown. I've never been to Woodfield, but now I am curious. It's quite a bad drive for me though, so I'd much rather do Old Orchard.

Are you booked for the pre-sale?

I vote for Michigan Ave. store! First of all, lots of great window licking besides NAS, and downtown Chicago is so beautiful this time of year (at least when I've visited it has been). Also, what an experience! Shopping the NAS on the Magnificent Mile. Anyplace you go will be fun though. Will you take pictures and post here (oh please oh please).

We can save Woodfield for another trip, perhaps. Now I'm torn between Michigan Ave and OO; are we in the mood for power-shopping (OO) or soaking in the whole experience (Mich Ave)? Hmmmm, maybe Michigan Ave is the better idea; I haven't shopped there at all in my new size. (OMG, danger danger!)

I am not booked for pre-sale at all! Can I tag along with you? I was debating going to OO today and sticking my nose in their business until someone made an appointment with me. Hee.

Ana, you and anyone from the Austin crew are more than welcome to fly up from Austin and join us for a breath of cool Lake Michigan air and some shopping on the Mag Mile! (And window licking, hee hee).

Thanks Laura! I wish I could. I already have plans to visit family in Boise in the near future, but I do owe my dad a visit (I haven't been to Chicago in 5 or so years). Next time I'm there I'm definitely going to see if I can make it to a Chicago YLF gathering.

Okay, we are set for Monday (tomorrow) at 6:15 at the Old Orchard Nordstrom's. Kristen is getting us an appt. and she and I will be meeting in the shoe dept. Shopping will be followed by cocktails/coffee/appetizers/dinner or wherever the evening takes us!
