Thanks you guys! Its really, really good to be back It was NOT fun being away! lol...Yup, we still got 'em... Michelle is still waiting for a decision from Disability- I know it takes time, but they havent even had her see a Dr yet! I have bugged (and bugged) her to get some help from the County (General Assistance/Medical) and she keeps telling me she sent the paperwork in and *supposedly* has an appt this coming week, although she wont tell me the date/time, which is quite odd. Each weekend they have gone camping up north with her Granddaughter...which isnt free. They continue to have money for booze (lots of it) and smokes....and Bingo, although they have cut down on that. Curt was working 3-4 nights a week at Old Dutch, thru the Temp agency, but now they told him that due to Union rules, temps can work for only 3 months and then must take 3 months off! So....he says he has several places he is applying for work at, but let's say I have my doubts.... We did tell them (before this work thing came up) that they could stay till March...which I know we shouldnt've done, but there really isnt anyone else who could/would take them in The Shelters turn away over 100 people a night...Some days are ok, others are really difficult to get thru....to say the least Its put a real strain between Tim and me, even though he was willing to extend the time...They do get a small amount on Food Stamps, so they offered to give us around $35 a month.....Curt does the yardwork, and I know it will be good for Tim not to have to deal with the snow. By Spring Michelle should have her decision and they *will* need to move on...I am really touched by the concern! Moving on to a fun subject, I would love to get together at MOA! Hope it comes together....
