Maya: Bad news re: Kate Spade purse

I heard back from Kate Spade and both style numbers I gave them are 100% leather. I'm so disappointed--I was really excited about the bag I wanted, and I know you were even more excited about yours. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Eh, that's what I expected Steph, so I'm not too disappointed. I have already made some other choices in advance. None are as fabulous but they're a lot cheaper at the very least.

In the past, I have been credited immediately (rather than having to wait for them to receive it), and my new items shipped out right away. So I'll just do that. I'm sure Zappos won't have a problem since it was their error.

If you call Zappos, let them know so they can change the listing. I did e-mail Kate Spade back and asked if they could give me the style names of any vegan purses they do have. I doubt they have any, but it was worth asking.

I got the bag and decided to open it, JUST in case...and yes, it is leather, and unfortunately yes, it is stunning. Not even remotely like cheap plastic. I could only wish.

Many of their older bags, like way back when they first started up, were all nylon. I used to have one, but it felt dated so I sold it.
