Maxi skirts that work for me!

This past weekend was Memorial Day and I was a bad girl and broke the SYC I had going to looks for a few specific items I thought I would use. I've been trying to find a maxi skirt that wasn't tiered. As pretty as the tiered ones are, I feel like they add a lot of volume to my bottom half, which I would rather avoid. I found these 2 at Old Navy and am super excited to work them into my closet.

Both are awesome! I love the Ikat pattern on the one and love both the waists. I find those types of waists to be so comfy. Can't wait to see them styled.

I'd love to see how you style these. I wouldn't know what to wear on top and still keep proportions looking good.

Good luck trying out the maxis! I'm curious to see how you style them and what the verdict is. I've been wanting to try out longer skirts, but between being a shorty and a pear, I've hesitated. The 'keep it slim on the bottom' theory sounds like a solid one, though!
