I am normally not much of a moccasin person, but I thought the big floppy bow was cute and I liked the color combo. I'm just not sure what to wear with them. What colors will work with that deep pink and brown?

Am I right in thinking they're not as ugly as most mocs? I guess I should establish that much first.

I like them--very whimsical, which is totally my style, too. Hey, I think you and I might have some similar tastes, just different body types.

I'm afraid I can't help you with color, though. All I can think of is olive green, which just seems kind of Christmas-ey and might muddy the look. Maybe a lighter shade of pink?

Actually the whole "Fever" section seemed to have you written all over it (at least from what I've seen that you've posted, I could totally be wrong).

They are adorable. Stick to cream, brown and yellow and don’t worry too much about matching them up. They make a statement on their own.

The Fever section at Macys is great and I’m glad that you’ve discovered it Ana. Quite nice quality and good prices. I’m curious though. Does that empire cut fit over your bust Maya?

I really like those! Since the brown is neutral, I think you should wear them with whatever you'd wear brown shoes with, and not worry about the color of the bow. The only color I'd avoid is red.

i have to admit that i don't like these shoes - they say college co-ed to me and don't seem to be spring attire - perhaps in the fall when you feel more collegiate?

AnaElizabeth, you are quite right--I love that top! It's the same color as the cardigan I got, and the same brand. I think if the cardi works out, I'll have a new favorite brand. The other Macys brand I like is Kenzie (who by sheer coincidence also makes really comfortable shoes). Maybe you'll like that brand as well.

Angie, I haven't had a problem with most empire waist tops. I actually find that they are the most flattering cut for me as long as they aren't gathered (wearing the best and most supportive bra really helps with this). I did recently have to turn down a Sweet Pea top because it cut across my chest, but it's not something I experience regularly.

I like the idea of cream and yellow. Red is a definite no. Unfortunately my winter coat is red, but I have these shoes in black as well so I'm set.
