Thanks for checking in! I haven't heard back from one interview, but I don't really care at this point. I didn't get a great vibe from the place anyway. The interviewer said she would get back to me by the end of the week, and she didn't, so that's pretty unprofessional in my opinion. Not a big loss for me.
I have another internship interview on Monday, for an internship that I'm actually excited about (a PR internship at a luxury jewelry company!) I still haven't found a suit but am planning on going shopping tomorrow to hopefully find something appropriate.
On Monday I am also going to an open Antropologie interview. They're opening a brand new store so it seems like they'll be doing a lot of hiring. Might be a fun temporary gig.
I've been back to work at the tv show and I just learned that the woman I work for (the production clerk) is moving out of the country at the end of the season and said she would recommend me for the position. I also heard her say in passing that "Marianna is going to take over for me." The clerk deals with all the legal paperwork for the show. It's not exactly what I want to do, but if I am offered this full-time position I'll probably take it. It probably pays well too. The season ends in December so I'm guessing the clerk will have to put in her resignation sort of soon.
Other than that I have kept on searching job websites, sending my resumes out, and I have been trying to keep busy. Staying physically active has been on my mind a lot too and I am considering getting my butt off the couch and going for a run (crawl) this morning. I'm tired of feeling frumpy and schlumpy.
