Well I have to say, I still need to work on some of these outfits which is one reason I haven't posted lately.
But I've picked up some great bargains. I now just have to tweak them.
I spent less than $15 this month. Had a ball. My favorites are the black textured pants from Sussan (from memory they cost me $3). They have a really awkward tie around the waist as a belt. At first I thought it was cute. Now I am beginning to hate it as I think it adds bulk in this area. So I took it out, and DH gave me a 'tweek' on the bum this morning along with some compliments. So I must have made a good move to take out the belt.
Photos not the best. I'll get the hang of it one day..
Personally I think that none of these outfits are great.
I love the black lace ruffle shirt. But black on black just doesn't work well for me.
I love the textured pants. But boy that belt doe me no favors.
I really like the pink vest. Love the color and texture. But the jeans I picked up are a bit baggy to be honest, very comfy around 'that time of the month' but more around the house I think.
I tried a lot with the textured pants. Tucking, un tucking, blazers over the top. I really think a crisp white shirt and some pearls would bring it up a notch. I've got the string of peals (well fake) my $5 bargain.
So although outfit #1 (around $7) & #3 (around $6.50 from memory) they would fit into this $15 challenge. They would not be really noteworthy enough for this challenge in my opinion.
Wish me better luck for April.
