And you can't wear the pieces, either. Apparently, it's not uncommon to have pieces of a collection stolen- but a whole collection, that must be unheard of!
I can think of a few reasons. I think most of them are likely personal. If profit is involved, it's to hurt Marc Jacobs, as opposed to direct gain, I'd think.
