So, I was lusting after that beautiful cashmere and silk scarf Angie showed us on her recent polka dot blog, and while I wanted and craved it, I realized it wasn't in my budget at the moment.

I went to the fabric store and spotted a white with blue polka dot material and then I proceeded to look at it for a few days and realized I don't have a sewing machine, I could do a whipping stitch and it would look awful or I could take it to the tailor, which is what I did. Here's my inspiration, my shopping at the fabric store and the completed scarf with tucked and untucked versions of my white skinnies and navy Zara sweater with a few shoe choices (lime green flats, red kitten heels and beige suede mules).
