I was so inspired yesterday/today by the great Forum suggestions that I immediately acted. I spent 3 hours at the mall. I think I tried on every single pair of pants offered at Banana Republic, Gap, JJill, and Athleta.

Following is an assortment of some of the pants I tried on. I came home with four different pair. Although I tried on a lot of different pairs, I only purchased from Athleta. This could have been because I was getting tired and hungry by the time I hit Athleta. But I also liked the "feel" of their fabrics against my skin the most. I was also enamored with the "jogger" styling. It matched what I had in mind. So my casual capsule is going to be based on a "jogger" style in the softest fabrications I can find.

I bought two tops too because the fabric felt heavenly. The tops wouldn't be everyone's style, but I really liked them. I think they will be perfect for what I have in mind.

A lot of grey. That also felt right.
