Mango Brown and White Shirt

These are quick try on photos of the Mango shirt from today’s post. Thanks, Angie!
I love this shirt. It is 100% cotton, very thin and lightweight. If you consider a set, keep in mind it’s a bit see through, might be an issue for pants.

I’m trying it with my old linen pants and a white skirt, also bought from Mango. I will be returning a skirt.

Please, excuse the mess around and awkward face

I have to add that I’m short, 160 cm or about 5”3 maybe and the shirt is long on me but I don’t mind in this case.

Beautiful shirt on you! I like all ways it's styled but I'm partial to outfit #1 with the tie in the front for waist definition and outfit #2 with the shirt untucked which is how I often wear shirts in the summer myself.

That shirt is perfect on you! Wowza. Absolutely lovely -- the colour is beautiful and you can wear it multiple ways, as you show. I love how it feels summery without screaming "summer brights". The brown gives it a twist, the white freshens it. It's sophisticated.

Irina, you and me both with the white skirt. I've tried at least 6 of them in the last 3 years. But no luck. It's always one thing or another and too full has been one of my issues, too. (Also, see through...scratchy...no lining or poly lining...)

My mother had the best cotton-linen summer white long skirt and I wish I'd saved it! Would have worked perfectly for me.

But luckily you have the right trousers to wear the top. So that is a plus.

Chocolate brown with white is a KILLER combination on you! I like the skirt version too! I know you're returning the skirt because it's too much skirt, and yes to the pants versions looking very YOU

The fabric on these MNG shirts is AWESOME!!! Very Mediterranean. Covered yet feels like nothing on the skin. The length makes it good to tie. I'm 5ft 6 and it's long on me. I semi-tuck or tie the front. I also adjusted the buttons on the sleeves to create a better fit.

Looks great, and I agree that the red shoes make the outfit. My one and only purchase and subsequent return from Mango wasn't a great experience. It shipped from Spain and took AGES to arrive, and returns were expensive and complicated.

LJP, sorry to hear about your experience with Mango. I have never ordered online from them. Despite having Mango stores here, this is my second purchase. They were never before on my radar. But they do have some nice items.

Ooh - i didn't know there were stand-alone stores in Canada! I've only ever seen the line the Bay stores . They do a great job with trendier , quality pieces at a good price point .

Janet, I opened the photos. They are a bit embarrassing, not styled and messy
LJP, stores come and go. Zara Home is no longer physically here. I like their stuff, sometimes they have higher quality clothing, very small collections but interesting. The return by mail is a nightmare, though.

The shirt is great on you! I think you wear it out and long beautifully. But I have to ask about the mesh shoes - I have not even been tempted because I just assumed they would fall apart in a few wears. Have you had yours long? What do you think?

Jaime, the mesh shoes are new but I had another pair of mesh shoes from the same brand, Massimo Dutti. The previous pair looked good enough to resell after I wore them last summer.

I hope mesh will be more resilient to scratches.

I’ve heard good reviews about Jeffrey Campbell mesh shoes.

looks FAB to me! I like all the ways you have styled it.
How do you like the mesh flats?
When they first became popular, I had thought I was a definite NO.
But the more I see them the more I like them and was disappointed that a style at Nordstrom sold out before I got on board. They seem like a fun airy sandal with some coverage.
