Let me see. In my small make up bag there are:
1 lash conditioner
1 mascara
2 eye pencils (1 brown, 1 blue)
1 lipgloss
1 lipstick
1 case of pressed foundation.
In the office desk drawer I keep 1 extra lipstick.
Almost all of these products need to be replenished. This happens at the right time because I like to start the new year with a fresh batch of new cosmetics!

Fascinating! So much variation.

I own one mascara, one tinted moisturizer, one concealer, one translucent powder, one brow gel, 4 Burt's Bees tinted lip balms, 2 MAC lipsticks, one powder blush.

Let me see, I am addicted to colourless lip balm. Got a dozen scattered around for those Chapstick emergencies.
I have one pale brown brow pencil, and one NARS 3 in 1 blush type stick. Wear about once a year. Used to wear for work only, with mascara.
Mascara is out since cataract surgery. No crumbles in eyes, please.
No lotions, no potions. No sunscreen. In Texas!
Spend a little money on more frequent haircuts to keep the silver pixie thing looking sharp, to compensate.
It’s a balance?

Jonesy, I watched the video. WOW! Just another one of your many talents!

Irina, thanks for graciously allowing a bit of hair talk on your make-up thread

Thus was super fun! I had to look up MLBB and tightlining, and I never thought of dyeing my lashes, so I have learned three things today. Dyed lashes would be sooo helpful as a swimmer.

I really enjoy putting makeup on, but don't like taking it off. Splashy and stresses my aging skin. Plus I just want to go to bed.

On the road, but at home I have a list very similar to Style Fan. I travel a lot, so treasure all my travel minis as well.

I don’t wear any day to day but on the odd occasion I do, I use a bit of green to smooth out the red, a bit of foundation, eye liner, maybe some shadow and some mascara. I’m thinking of wearing it again daily to elevate my look because I used to wear daily.

Have two cosmetic bags full of various make-up but for the last year plus only wear the following daily:

eyebrow pencil
1 of three different color lipsticks

Occasionally add mascara usually on a weekend outing.
For a very occasional night out a cream eyeshadow X 2.

Applied silver nail polish this week to finger nails for the first time in approx. 5 years. Every summer do paint my toes.

I have become a make up minimalist it seems. Now if I can do the same with my clothing I will be happy.

Star, me too although Angie says I’m an average user! Oh, dear…

@Roberta my makeup game was revolutionised by the Face Halo (reusable wash rounds). I now wear makeup more regularly because of it! The Last Round is another brand too.

Actually @Jaime makes a good point - I never go outside without suncream and niacinamide, even if nothing else

Zaeobi, me too. I pay way more for a sunscreen that works with my makeup products or use tinted sunscreen but I never leave the house without it.

I wear make up every day and feel that currently my collection is at its lowest in years, but having said that, I have more than most.

I feel quite minimal, as I used to wear liquid eyeliner in my 20’s and more elaborate eyeshadow.

Bijou, I thought you are kind of an average user like me until I reached lipsticks! I think there is nothing minimal about you

Irina, I am going to set myself a challenge to get my lipsticks down to 10!

I tossed out 10 lipglosses today , getting my collection down to the ones I actually use (about 8 now ) Next up : lipstick . This thread was a great motivator !

Whelp, off to see about brow and lash dying. It sounds not fussy. I might also look into treating a small amount of hyperplasia with laser treatments? anyone tried that?

My weakness is lipstick. I just emptied out my makeup bag and it contains:

BB cream
Brow balm
Eyeliner pencil
Mascara

2x cream blush (which I also use on eyelids)

5x lipstick, and I’m pretty sure I have at least 2 more lipsticks in one of the other bathrooms and tinted or shiny balm (the same ones Angie uses) tucked into every coat pocket and purse.

Not shown: eyelash curler, pencil sharpener

In my makeup bag I have:
1 translucent powder
1 powder blush
1 mascara
1 brow pencil
2 eyeliner pencils
2-6 lipsticks
1-2 lipglosses
Also: eyelash curler, pencil sharpener, tweezers, small scissors, Eight Hour Cream, clear nail polish

In addition I have (in my bathroom) 1 tinted moisturiser, 1 concealer and multiple eyeshadows--but I seldom use them.

The Cat, your list is very similar to mine although I use under eye concealer, not every day but almost always when I wear makeup.

Hm, I didn’t count as I packed it, but all my make-up fits in kind of an oversized pencil case from Clinique. Several eyeliner pencils (if they’re old, I just sharpen them and the new surface is fine), a couple bronze eye shadows that I use on my brows and under my cheekbones, Bobby brown and Tart concealers, several lipsticks and tinted lip balms that I use pretty interchangeably. I made myself leave behind the Elizabeth Arden shadow that I wanted to take along because that stuff ain’t cheap, until I realize the matte color deadens me.
