I can't wait to see this all done up! I know you will have many footwear options in your closet, but I'm trying to remember the colour of the rockport snakeskin pumps (+ clutch?) you showed us a few years back. Whatever you choose I have no doubt this will make a stunning maid's outfit.
I think bridesmaid shopping is always a frustrating chore - so many compromises and considerations - but in the end you will look fab.

Bride really likes the color.
So, now onto shoes. The buckle is gold. I have a pair of off-white/bone wedges but somehow I don't think they'll work. I'll try them anyways.
I have heeled black gladiator sandals, old LD Tuttle, they might work, but also might be heavy looking.
I don't think a cork or light soled shoe would work, nor espadrilles. It just doesn't seem to go. Need something not too pretty or precious, but also not too aggressive. Tough line to tow.
I do have to be careful as to not get too high a wedge as they can be unstable too.

What about something in a crazy floral or wackadoodle print? Shoes would not be so obtrusive as a whole floral dress, right? The Ted Bakers I linked might work but they don't really have blue in the pattern.

You probably don't want to spend >1K on rockstuds, but these multicolor block heel ones would be AWESOME.

I love those shoe suggestions for the dress, Diana!

I trust Angie, re. the dress. The IRL dress surprised me. I didn't know the skirt, from the original pic, was so sheer and floaty and crushy. I admit that sets me on my back feet and daunts me!

Love the dress. Gorgeous color on you and interesting shape. Dresses can be an ordeal- they have to work in so many ways. Hope the shoe selection is more fun.

Bravo!

Ooh, Diana I didn't even think of low block heels. Rainbow Rockstuds are awesome, but not even my size. Same with spotty Sam Edelman's

Spendy...but I really like

Metallic, but might be too shiny

Probably too high

Definitely colorful

It's Seattle so you may not have this problem but... really shiny metallic can be blinding outdoors in the sun and will prob mess up photos. I like all of the options you found. The orange heel on the Chie Miharas would be really cool with the blue dress.

The dress is really pretty. Love the color!

Well I am a bad influence - I love the Laurence Dacade ones for you.

Oh, I love this dress on you! The color is wonderful with your coloring, and I think that the interesting hemline is so perfect for your strong fashion sensibilities! I couldn't imagine you in some boring plain ole dress. You had to have something with a strong fashionable snap! As for shoes, I don't feel qualified to help out, as that is your strong suit... but my own personal opinion is my standard fall back - nude ankle strap pumps. Something that elongates and disappears and lets the dress do the talking... And bookends your hair. But honestly, that is probably just my own preference and comfort zone, not so much what is perfect for YOU.

I found these Jimmy Choo's on clearance at the downtown Nordies.
Despite what I said about light soles, but with Diana's suggestions. I really like them

Whoa, those shoes are awesome! So... You!!

The color of those shoes is stunning. If the side view of them on works with the dress you are "golden". And I think the day will be more fun if the heels aren't at your limit. Fingers crossed.

Those shoes you found are fantastic, Anna. I hope you brought them home to at least try with the dress.

Yes, I'd see if the shoulder length can be taken up a touch (did this with last bridesmaids dress I wore, it was easy to have tailored.) I LOVE the color and like the bodice/bust fit much better than the earlier dress. With a little tweaking and a different bra I think it will be a winner.

Yes, I hope you brought home those Choos.

Oooooh. They look perfect, Anna. Were you at Nordies yesterday? me too.

Awesome shoes! Let's see them with the dress.

Thinking you got the fantastic shoes? Hoping you'll soon be posting the dress rehearsal?

Dress is a great potential if worn with the right bra, and steamed (but warning, light viscose make wrinkles easy). Hope it will smooth out on the bodice, but taking up the shoulders a bit(or shortening the bodice) is not that a big deal, either. It's a gorgeous color on you, and the quirky cut fits you!:-) I would wear with a gold sandal, or some tan pumps, but not white, for a matter. Think, black strapy would be also good, but than add a black clutch to it for the balancing out the color scheme! Can't wait to see it styled!

ETA: I see I was too late with my shoe options:-). The best of all would be blue, of course, you find is so fab!

Jimmy Choo's were too narrow at the front band. Back to search.
